Make Healthy Moves in the Morning
Making healthy decisions in the morning makes you more likely to continue making healthy decisions later on in the day. If you work out in the morning, you won’t want to ruin your good feeling by eating a bunch of pizza later on. The same goes for eating a healthy shake in the morning, or meditating. Being mindful in the morning sets you up for a successful day.
Eat More Fiber
If you’re trying to eat until you’re full instead of eating until you’re absolutely stuffed, trying eating more fiber. Not only does fiber help stabilize your blood sugar levels, but it will help you feel more satisfied when you’re done eating. Fiber fills you up and keeps you full, and it’s also been associated with faster metabolisms and better digestion.
At this point, you’re probably wondering which foods are high in fiber. We’ve got good news — you can start ordering all the artichoke dip your heart desires. Black beans and lima beans are high in fiber too, so feel free to order those bean burritos. Brussels sprouts are another great source of fiber, so try baking a sheet full of brussels sprouts with balsamic vinegar and soy sauce drizzled over the top.
Buy a water bottle
Drinking water seems like the simplest thing to do, but a lot of people struggle to get the right amount of water into their body every day. For one reason or another, water seems to be the last thing on a lot of people’s minds throughout the day. Fortunately, getting yourself to drink water is pretty simple too. Having a water bottle gives you a reason to always have water near you, and you’ll be more likely to stay hydrated if you have something to keep track of that’s filled with water. This tip sounds simple, but give it a shot and see how effective it is!
