Living in Daytona apartments means being in constant need of cool treats. It gets hot down here, and our residents will do anything they can to beat the heat — especially in July and August. We wrote about healthy living advice in our previous blog post, but this one is about something that’s a little more indulgent.
This week’s post is all about the best ice cream shops in Daytona. If you haven’t found your go-to ice cream spot in town yet, you’re in luck. We’ll be talking about four of the highest-rated ice cream shops and comparing attributes like ice cream quality, how cute the store is, how friendly the staff is, and more!
We’re sure you started craving ice cream before you made it halfway through the previous paragraph, so let’s dive right into the list! Check out the post below, and when you’re done with it, feel free to share this blog with your friends and neighbors at your community of Daytona apartments!
Jeremiah’s Ice of Daytona
You won’t find a more unique ice cream shop experience than at Jeremiah’s Ice of Daytona. This place doesn’t have any inside seating, but the sidewalk ordering experience is fun and the staff is known to hand out tons of free samples to anyone who walks by. In addition to regular ice cream, Jeremiah’s has gelato and italian ice. Our favorite thing about this place is the super cute cups that the ice cream comes served in. Check out their Yelp page to get a look at them!
Yes, this is the ice cream shop that’s shaped like a gigantic ice cream cone. Twistee Treat has ice cream cones, dipped cones, slushies, choco-tacos, and sundaes. It will only take one glance at the pics on their Yelp page to convince you to check this place out. They serve soft serve ice cream and you can get it through the drive though if you don’t have time to wait in the super popular ice cream shop.
When you go to an ice cream shop, you want it to taste way better than anything you can buy at the grocery store. You also want it to be cute, being going to an ice cream shop, in and of itself, very cute. For these reasons, we recommend going to Cow Licks. The ice cream here has a super unique texture, so check it out if you’re not a fan of soft serve.
Cow Licks is cash only, so make sure you hit the ATM before you go. It’s perfect location by the beach makes it an ideal ice cream shop for anyone who gets too hot while they’re trying to catch a tan, so check it out next time you’re in the area!
